Derrick Ramos

Derrick Ramos is a seasoned professional with experience in various governmental agencies and roles. Currently serving as the Deputy County Manager / Chief of Staff at Mecklenburg County, Derrick provides executive leadership for budget development, strategic planning, risk management, policy, and administration oversight. Derrick has also held roles at the U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration, and worked with multiple members of Congress. Derrick holds a Master of Business Administration from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from Texas A&M University.
