George Dunlap

George Dunlap is a Democrat elected to his fourth term on the Board. Dunlap served 14 years as the District 3 representative for the Charlotte Mecklenburg School Board. He formerly served as chairman of the County’s Effective and Efficient

Govern​​ment Committee, a member of the Public Safety Committee, a member of the Economic Development Committee, and as the liaison to the Mecklenburg County Fire Commission. He is a former DARE Officer with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
