Kiara Griffin

Kiara Griffin is an accomplished professional in the fields of education, media, and recreation. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Central Piedmont Community College, Kiara teaches Editing I and Sound Operations and develops comprehensive lesson plans. As a Recreation Specialist at Mecklenburg County, Kiara organizes special events and oversees operations in the absence of senior staff. Previous experience includes roles as a News Photojournalist at WJCL, where Kiara handled live on-air productions, and as a Production Assistant in various media settings, facilitating communication among production teams. Kiara also has experience in retail as a Sales Representative at Michael Kors, freelance photography with South Magazine, and as a part of the media department during an internship at Cumulus Media. Kiara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Media Studies from Georgia Southern University.
