Latoya Pousa

Latoya Pousa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health program supervision, violence prevention, and education. Currently, Latoya serves as the Health Program Supervisor for the Office of Violence Prevention at Mecklenburg County and as the Violence Prevention Center Coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Additionally, Latoya works as a Data Evaluator at MSB Consulting, LLC, and as a Consultant at LKP Equity Consulting, LLC. Previous roles include Full-Spectrum Doula at Charlotte Village Birth Services and Upper School Counselor at Charlotte Lab School, among others. Latoya's diverse background includes leadership positions in diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as extensive experience in teaching and educational leadership. Latoya earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
