Nancy Ross

Nancy Ross, GISP, is a seasoned GIS professional with extensive experience in mapping, data analysis, and project services across various governmental sectors. Currently serving as a Senior GIS Analyst for Mecklenburg County since May 2016, Nancy provides GIS support to departments such as the Tax Assessor and Board of Elections. Previously, as Planning & Geographic Information Specialist III at the City of Gastonia from August 2005 to April 2016, Nancy was responsible for GIS services for the Planning Department, managing data layers, and facilitating planning applications. Prior experience includes developing a comprehensive GIS at the City of Chula Vista and serving as Senior Research Technician at the San Diego Association of Governments. Nancy holds a BA in Urban Studies & Planning from UC San Diego and pursued an MPA focus at SDSU.
