Steve Levinson

Steve Levinson has extensive experience in IT leadership and service delivery, currently serving as IS Director for Mecklenburg County's County Assessor's Office since January 2016. In this role, Steve has optimized productivity through enhanced AV services, streamlined technical support, and improved customer experience for over 6,100 countywide customers. Prior to this, Steve was IT Director at Maricopa County Sheriff's Office from February 2003 to December 2015, where key achievements included saving over $1 million through essential vendor negotiations and transitioning legacy technology to cloud computing solutions. Earlier roles included ownership of Levee's Computer Designs and a managerial position at America West Airlines, where Steve managed a technical support team during critical operations, including the activation of the Emergency Operations Center post-9/11.
