Timmothy M. Tibbs

Timmothy M. Tibbs is an experienced public administration professional currently serving as the Sr. Assistant to the County Manager for Mecklenburg County since September 2008. In this role, Timmothy provides high-level community relations services, investigates complaints for all County Departments, and acts as the primary mediator for complex issues at the request of the County Executive Team and the Board of County Commissioners. Previously, Timmothy worked as the Assistant to the County Manager, offering administrative support and research assistance, and as the Planning Director for the Town of Elizabethtown, overseeing various aspects of planning and development. Timmothy holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from Western Kentucky University.
