Adam Watson, PhD

Adam Watson, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and life sciences. Adam is currently serving as the Co-Founder & CEO of MeCo Diagnostics since March 2022. Adam is also an Entrepreneur in Residence at EvoNexus and a Grants Reviewer at Genome Canada, both since October 2022. Prior to their current roles, Adam worked as a Scientist at Lynx Biosciences, Inc. from October 2021 to March 2022. Adam also served as an Associate Scientist at Hawkeye Spectral Imaging LLC from September 2020 to September 2021. Earlier in their career, Adam was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Arizona College of Medicine from December 2018 to June 2020.

Adam Watson, PhD completed their education journey with a strong background in Cancer Biology and Microbiology. Adam first pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Microbiology at the University of Victoria, where they attended from 2003 to 2008. Building on this foundation, they continued their academic pursuits at the University of Arizona, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cancer Biology from 2012 to 2018.
