Brent Zimmerman

Brent Zimmerman is the Chief Legal Officer & Assistant Secretary at Miller Electric Company, Inc. Prior to their current position, they were a Partner at Jimerson & Cobb, P.A. from September 2013 to November 2016. During that time, they represented owners, developers, contractors, construction trades, architects, engineers and suppliers in contract negotiation, litigation, arbitration and bid protests. Brent also represented businesses and individuals in all facets of commercial litigation as well as business transaction and contract matters. From July 2013 to September 2013, they were the Managing Shareholder at The Zimmerman Law Firm, P.A. where they again represented owners, developers, contractors, construction trades, architects, engineers and suppliers in contract negotiation, litigation, arbitration and bid protests. Brent also continued to represent businesses and individuals in all facets of commercial litigation and business contracts. Prior to that, they were a Partner at Bachara Construction Law Group from September 2007 to June 2013. Before that they were an Associate at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP from April 2006 to September 2007. Brent's career began as an Associate at McRae & Metcalf, P.A. from January 2003 to April 2006.

Brent Zimmerman attended The Bolles School before going on to study finance at the University of Florida. Brent then went on to attend Florida State University College of Law, where they earned their JD. Brent is now Board Certified in Construction Law from The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization & Education.
