Beatriz González

Beatriz González is a Spanish finance professional who currently serves as the Director of Finance and Controlling at Mecwins. Beatriz has over fifteen years of experience in finance and accounting, having worked in a variety of industries including consulting, automotive, technology, and education.

Beatriz began their career in 2004 as a purchasing logistics and invoicing specialist at Nissan Technical Centre España. Beatriz then spent a year as a project financial analyst at Software AG before moving to the Ministry of Education and Science, where they coordinated European projects for two years. In 2007, they briefly worked as a general accountant and closer at Ericsson before returning to the Ministry of Education and Science.

In 2011, Beatriz left the public sector to join Practia Consulting as a finance controller consultant for Repsol. Beatriz spent a year and a half in this role before moving to their current position at Mecwins in 2012. As Director of Finance and Controlling, they are responsible for the financial management of the company as well as overseeing the accounting, tax, and treasury departments.

Beatriz González has a certificate in chartered controller analyst from the Global Chartered Controller Institute, a coaching individual program from the Programa de Coaching Individual, a specialization in promotion and management of projects and actions from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, an MBA from Escuela de Organización Industrial, and a degree in Economics from Universidad de Alcalá.

Beatriz González works with Virginia Cebrián - Head of Bioscience, Andreas Thon - Head of Software, and Valerio Pini - Head of Engineering. Beatriz González reports to Óscar Ahumada, General Manager.
