Priscila Kosaka is currently an advisor at Mecwins. Priscila has over ten years of experience in the engineering and test automation field. Prior to their current position, they worked as an engineer test and automation for P3 Systems GmbH from January 2014 to January 2015. There, they were responsible for developing and deploying all phases of testing and certification projects for hard discs and optical drives. This included defining test concepts, creating test cases, trial planning, testing execution, and documenting and describing defects. Additionally, they built and led project teams of 2-4 people, coordinated communications with customers, ensured alignment of timelines, prepared quotes, and modified deliverables and/or schedule as needed. Priscila also organized large numbers of simultaneous tests, managed external environmental labs, test controls, test analysis, and prepared and presented results to customers.
Before their time at P3 Systems GmbH, Kosaka worked as a Senior Scientist at Philips Research from May 2002 to December 2012. There, they were responsible for conducting research in the area of semiconductor materials and devices. Priscila also authored or co-authored over 50 papers in international journals and conferences.
Priscila Kosaka earned their Ph.D. in Physics from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. Priscila also holds a Diploma in Physics from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and a Master of Science in Physics from The University of New Mexico. In addition, they have completed an Open University Course in Medical Physics and Technology from the University of Kaiserslautern.
