Jiao Zhang

Jiao Zhang's work experience begins in 2018 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine. During this time, they designed and managed various research and clinical studies, analyzed data, and wrote study protocols, reports, manuscripts, and grants. In 2019, Jiao moved to Singlera Genomics Incorporated where they served as a Scientist, Clinical Research. In this role, they were involved in clinical trials related to detecting circulating tumor DNA methylation using next-generation sequencing technology. They also created and modified study documents. Jiao then joined Med Data Quest in 2020 as a Medical Product Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the design, implementation, and co-leadership of Medicare's Chronic Care Management and Remote Physiologic Monitoring programs. They reviewed clinical notes and coded CPT codes for procedures and ICD codes for diagnoses. They also had expertise in clinical analytics and customer-facing data package delivery.

Jiao Zhang obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University, where the field of study is not mentioned. Jiao then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medicine and Biology from UC San Diego between 2014 and 2017. In 2017 and 2018, Jiao Zhang earned a Certificate in Leadership and Teamwork from UC San Diego Extended Studies. More recently, in 2020, they studied Education of CPT/HCPCS Coding at UC San Diego Extended Studies, although no degree was specified for this program.
