Kaisa Tarkkanen

Kaisa Tarkkanen is the managing director at Med Group Oy, a position they have held since September 2020.

Previously, Tarkkanen served as a board member at Vivago Oy from June 2019 to September 2020. Vivago develops smart safety and wellbeing solutions for preventive care, including realtime notifications about changes in the wellbeing of patients and automatic alarms.

Before their time at Vivago, Tarkkanen was the president at Orion Diagnostica Oy from October 2015 to December 2018. As president, Tarkkanen oversaw all aspects of Orion's diagnostic division, which provides diagnostic products and services for use in medical laboratories.

Tarkkanen began their career at McDonald's in January 1996 as a research manager. In May 2000, they were promoted to head of region Scandinavia at Orion Corporation, Orion Pharma. Tarkkanen remained in this role until September 2015 when they left to become president at Orion Diagnostica.

Kaisa Tarkkanen has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the Boardman School. Kaisa also has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu.
