Richard Y. Chen

Richard Y. Chen is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in machine learning, risk analytics, and wireless communications. Currently serving as an ML Platform Architect at Medable, Inc. since 2020, Richard has previously held significant roles at MSCI Inc. as a Senior Associate specializing in risk analytics, and at Philips Research North America in various capacities focused on wireless network standards and protocols. Richard's expertise encompasses the design and development of innovative multimedia and wireless communication systems, including in-home video streaming solutions and MPEG4 video streaming architectures. Richard earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer System Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Southeast University.
