Alexander S. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Alexander started their career in the US Army, serving as a First Lieutenant and gaining experience in aviation and leadership. After leaving the military, Alexander worked at Stryker, where they held various positions in international sales, marketing, and business development, primarily focusing on Latin America. Alexander then joined Visionary Biomedical Inc as a Senior Business Development Executive before moving to KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America, Inc as the Director of Sales & Marketing for Orthopedics & Spine. Alexander later joined Arthrex, where they served as the Global Senior Vice President for Advanced Technologies, overseeing the growth of the digital platform and leading international business operations. Alexander also had roles as the Vice President for Asia-Pacific, Africa-MER, Latin America-Caribbean, Spain & Portugal, and Director of Surgery Center Systems and International Business Development at Arthrex. More recently, Alexander worked at Asensus Surgical as the Vice President for International Development. Currently, they hold the position of VP Strategic Projects at Medacta International.
Alexander S. has a diverse educational background. Alexander attended McCallie School from 1986 to 1990, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. After completing high school, they enrolled at the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1990 to 1994. There, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering & Foreign Languages. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained an MBA with a specialization in General Management. Alexander also attended Harvard Business School on two occasions: in 2017, they completed a program on Leading Global Teams, and in 2019, they attended the Advanced Management Program (AMP 197).
