Andy Leong

Andy Leong has a diverse work experience in product management, strategy analysis, and service development in the healthcare industry. Andy is currently working as a Product Manager at MedAdvisor Ltd, responsible for managing the MedAdvisor app both in Australia and internationally. Prior to this, they worked at Telstra Health as a Product Manager and Strategy Analyst, where they focused on improving the efficiency and quality of healthcare in Australia. Andy also had experience as a Co-Founder of Summit Warrior, a health company that provided nutrition solutions and training resources, and as a Partnerships Executive at Medibank, Australia's largest private health insurer. Additionally, they held management positions at Macmillan Cancer Support and Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, where they played a key role in developing and managing evidence-based services for people affected by cancer and overseeing the service delivery and management of respiratory and pain management units. In their role as Deputy Chief Operating Officer at NHS England, they successfully managed operational performance and collaborated with healthcare providers to meet national targets.

Andy Leong pursued a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at La Trobe University from 2006 to 2011. Subsequently, they attended La Trobe University again in 2012 and 2013 to obtain a Master of Health Administration degree. In 2018, Andy enrolled in General Assembly for a Product Management program. Finally, in 2020, they attended Le Wagon to study Computer Programming.
