Sundar Manku

Sundar Manku has a diverse work experience in entrepreneurship and innovation. Sundar is currently working as the Manager of Entrepreneurship Services at FastStartDC, where they oversee the daily operations of the 360Insights Entrepreneurship Centre and manages partnerships with external colleagues and stakeholders. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of MedaKi, a digital healthcare solutions company. During their time at MedaKi, they led cross-functional teams and raised funds to sustain business operations. Sundar has also worked as an Academic Assistant at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University and as a Member of the Ryerson Venture Zone in Brampton. Sundar was a BACE Program Member at the Biomedical Zone and a Member of the Science Discovery Zone. Additionally, they co-founded HeroHub and served as the Chief Technology Officer, where they facilitated the product development cycle and collaborated with senior executives to align technology initiatives with the company's overall strategy. Sundar was also a Basecamp Fellow at The DMZ, where they participated in an intensive incubation program for young entrepreneurs. Furthermore, they founded the League of Innovators programs, which engage youth in entrepreneurship and innovation. Sundar has also worked as a Startup Incubator Intern at Dunin-Deshpande Queen's Innovation Centre.

Sundar Manku's education history begins with their high school education at Chinguacousy Secondary School, which they attended from 2011 to 2014, obtaining a high school diploma.

Sundar then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Hon. at Ryerson University from 2014 to 2018.

Following their undergraduate studies, Sundar enrolled in the Smith School of Business at Queen's University and completed a Master of Management Entrepreneurship and Innovation program from 2018 to 2019, specializing in the field of Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Sundar has also obtained various certifications. Sundar earned the "Prepare for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate) Exam (SAA-C01)" certification from LinkedIn in November 2020. In August 2019, Sundar obtained the "Certificate in Disruptive Technology" from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University and the "Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Social Impact" from the Centre for Social Impact | Smith School of Business. Sundar also completed the "Smith Summer Enrichment Program - Big Data Analytics" from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University in July 2019.

Prior to these certifications, Sundar acquired several skills and knowledge through online courses. In January 2019, they obtained certifications in "Amazon EC2 Fundamentals," "SEO Foundations," "Web Development Foundations: Full-Stack vs Front-End" from Lynda.com. Sundar also completed the "Accounting Foundations: Budgeting" course from Lynda.com in September 2018 and obtained the "Google Analytics" certification from Google in December 2018.
