John Kantor

John Kantor has over 26 years of experience in the medical technology industry. John currently holds the position of Vice President Product Development at MedAlliance Swiss Medical Technology since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Medtronic, where they held various senior leadership roles. This includes serving as the Senior Director of R&D, Leader for Peripheral Vascular from July 2020 to May 2023, Senior Director of Research & Development, Structural Heart Mitral Replacement from January 2018 to July 2020, and Senior Director of Program Management, Peripheral Vascular from March 2017 to January 2018. John also served as the Global Program Director for Peripheral from June 2011 to March 2017, overseeing 8 Drug Coated Balloon programs. Before joining Medtronic, John held positions of increasing responsibility in R&D engineering and project management at Controlled Release Technology.

John Kantor attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2000 to 2001, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of San Francisco. Later, in 2016 to 2017, they attended Stanford University and obtained an Advanced Program Management Certificate.
