Thomas Munson

Thomas Munson has been with Medallion Financial for over 15 years, and is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. Prior to their current role, they served as the Vice President of Valley National Bank. Thomas was responsible for acquiring State Bank of Long Island in January 2012.

Munson began their professional career in 2001 as a Surety Administrator for Allied North America. In this role, they were responsible for processing and administering surety bonds. Thomas left this position in 2004 to join Medallion Financial.

At Medallion Financial, Munson has held various positions including Commercial Lender, Senior Vice President, and Executive Vice President & Chief Credit Officer. In their current role, they are responsible for managing the credit department and overseeing the company's lending operations.

Munson has a MBA in finance from Long Island University and a BS in finance from both the University of Scranton and Hofstra University.
