Deanna Cook is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in healthcare law and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Counsel for Regulatory & Compliance at Medallion since July 2025, Deanna focuses on streamlining regulatory processes for healthcare organizations. Prior to this role, Deanna held positions as Associate General Counsel at Carelon, where responsibilities included leading client contracting efforts, and as Senior Director of Legal Affairs at Strata Oncology, providing legal counsel on precision oncology and clinical trials. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant General Counsel at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where compliance with Medicare regulations was a primary focus. Deanna began legal career at Steptoe & Johnson LLP, initially as a Summer Associate and subsequently as an Associate Attorney, gaining diverse legal expertise across multiple practice areas.
