Steven Shelton

Steven Shelton, MBA, MSN, RN, CHPN has extensive work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Steven is currently the Director of Clinical Services at Medalogix, where they lead the implementation of post-acute SAAS products and assists client organizations with process development and workflow integration. Prior to this, Steven worked as an Independent Consultant at Maxwell Healthcare Associates, focusing on improving patient outcomes through EMR implementations and clinical technologies. Steven has also worked as a Registered Nurse and Admissions Nurse at Trustbridge and Capital Caring Health, respectively. Steven's earlier experience includes roles as a Staff Nurse in the ICU at University Hospital and Medical Center, and a Registered Nurse in the Neuroscience/Telemetry Progressive Care Unit at Memorial Hermann Health System. Before entering the healthcare field, Steven worked as an Account Executive at SRJ Marketing Communications.

Steven Shelton, MBA, MSN, RN, CHPN has a diverse educational background. Steven recently obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Western Governors University in 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in Nursing Education from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2022. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from the same university, which they completed in 2018. Steven began their nursing education by pursuing an Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing (RN) from Alvin Community College from 2015 to 2016.

In addition to their educational accomplishments, Steven Shelton also holds two notable certifications. Steven is a CHAP Certified Consultant, having received this certification from CHAP in December 2021. Steven has also earned the certification of Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) from the Hospice & Palliative Credentialing Center in June 2021. Steven also holds a certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association.
