Dr Hansell has experience in large company MedDevice, healthcare startups, biotech & venture capital. Prior to Baxter, Dr. Hansell led the medical strategy that helped Cheetah Medical grow from startup to acquisition by Baxter in 4 years. Prior to Cheetah, Dr. Hansell was Chief Medical Officer for GE Healthcare and Covidien (Medtronic). Prior to industry, Dr. Hansell was CMO of an IDN in Boston. Alongside industry, he has a 30+ year academic career at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston.
