Omid Esfandiari, CISSP, is an experienced IT security professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the IT Security Lead at Medcan since November 2022, Omid previously held roles such as Enterprise Security Architect at Shaw Communications and Big Data Security Architect at Bell. A strong background in security management is demonstrated through significant contributions to incident response teams, enterprise security documentation, and risk reporting. Prior experience includes senior positions in IT security consulting and network administration roles, showcasing expertise in network design, maintenance, and staff training. Omid holds a BS in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Tehran, earned between 1992 and 1999.
