Kalpana Singh

Kalpana Singh has a diverse work experience in the field of pathology. Kalpana is currently working as a Consultant Histopathologist at SRL Diagnostics. Prior to this, they worked as a Medical Consultant at medcase. Kalpana also served as a Gordon Signy Fellow in Pediatric & Perinatal Pathology at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. Before that, they worked as a Consultant in Pathology at DR DANGS LAB LLP. Kalpana has also worked as a Surgical Pathology Observer at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson.

One of their notable roles was as an Attending Consultant at Max Healthcare, where they managed and led a diagnostic lab. Kalpana played a vital role in obtaining NABL accreditation for the lab, which made it the first HLM across the Max Healthcare Group to receive this prestigious accreditation.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Resident Doctor at Lady Hardinge Medical College, gaining exposure to a wide variety of cases and acquiring skills in histopathology and immunohistochemistry. Kalpana also had short-term roles as a Visiting Fellow at Singapore General Hospital and Medical University of Graz.

Kalpana Singh's education history began in 2004 when they enrolled at Lady Hardinge Medical College, University of Delhi to pursue a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. Kalpana completed this program in 2009.

In 2013, Kalpana continued their education at Lady Hardinge Medical College and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Pathology in 2016.

After completing their MD, Kalpana furthered their education by attending several additional training programs. In 2018, they attended the Singapore General Hospital for a focused study on Breast Pathology. Later that year, they also studied Lung and Pleural Diseases at Medizinische Universität Graz.

Most recently, in 2022, Kalpana attended the Royal College of Pathologists, where they obtained the Diplomate of Royal College of Pathologists (DipRCPath) degree with a specialization in Histopathology.

In addition to their formal education, Kalpana has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they earned a certification in Quality Management System and Internal Audit in Medical Laboratories ISO 15189 from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).

Furthermore, in 2020, they obtained the DMC Registration certification from the Delhi Medical Council. Lastly, in 2022, Kalpana achieved the FRCPath Part 1 certification in Histopathology from the Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath).
