Niv Shochat

Niv Shochat has a diverse work experience starting from 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as an Accountant at EY where they were a senior audit team member for NASDAQ listed and other private multinational corporations. Niv handled various responsibilities such as annual audit, quarterly reviews, complex financing, internal controls, and tax return preparation.

In 2015, Shochat joined Hilman & Co. as an Accountant for a brief period of time.

In 2016, they joined Essence Group as an Assistant Financial Controller. Niv later became the Financial Controller in 2018 and held this role until 2019. At Essence Group, Shochat managed and analyzed all finance processes, presented financial insights to senior management, and implemented strategies to reduce expenses and improve revenue generation.

From 2019 to 2023, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Apester, where they were responsible for financial management and planning.

Starting in 2023, Shochat became the Chief Executive Officer at Medcase, where they currently oversee the company's operations and strategic direction.

Niv Shochat obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from The College of Management Academic Studies from 2007 to 2011. Later, from 2014 to 2015, Niv attended Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Niv also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, though the specific timeline of when this certification was obtained is unknown.
