Sharon Kirk is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in administrative support and communications. Currently semi-retired since May 2019, Sharon has served as an Administrative Assistant at MedChi The Maryland State Medical Society since September 2012. Prior roles include Communications Specialist at Energetics Inc, where strategic communications for the U.S. were developed, and Consumer Affairs Manager at the Maryland Public Service Commission, overseeing consumer education and media relations. Additionally, Sharon held the position of Director of Industry Affairs at the National Petrochemical & Refining Association, acting as an industry lobbyist and strategist. Sharon earned a BA in Journalism and Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 1981 and 1987.
