Rhu Brett Brunmeier

Brett Brunmeier has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Brett currently holds the position of Director of Account Management at MedCost. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Benefits Advisor at Grady Health System. Brett also worked at Maestro Health as a Managing Director for over 11 years. Brett held the role of Sales Director at USAble Life from 2007 to 2009. Their early career was at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, where they served as a Large Group Sales Manager from 2000 to 2007.

Brett Brunmeier, RHU, holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English, which they obtained from Gustavus Adolphus College from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1986 to 1989. In terms of certifications, Brett obtained their Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation from The American College of Financial Services in June 1997. Brett also holds a Life and Health Insurance License, which they obtained from the State of North Carolina in April 2010. Additionally, they attained the certification of Certified Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Professional from the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) in December 2013 and became NAHU Self-Funded Group Health Plan Certified in March 2021.
