Esther Ishaya

Esther Ishaya is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in child welfare and protection. Currently serving as the Family Strengthening Manager at SOS Children's Villages International since October 2022, Esther has also held roles as a Childcare Worker and Child Protective Specialist at Terres Des Hommes since December 2019. In addition, Esther has been a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Officer with Médecins du Monde since August 2017, focusing on awareness-raising activities for gender equality and child protection. Esther Ishaya holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the University of Maiduguri, completed in 2019.
