Jean-Francois Corty currently serves as Président and Vice-président at Médecins du Monde since June 2023, while also holding the position of Chercheur associé at IRIS - Institut de relations internationales et stratégiques since March 2022. Additionally, Jean-Francois has been engaged with Ville de Paris since April 2019 in various medical roles, including Medecin d’encadrement santé scolaire and Responsable médical at the covid vaccination center. Since September 2020, Jean-Francois has been a Chargé d’enseignement at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, focusing on international humanitarian politics and development, and also teaches crisis management and health inequalities at Sciences Po Toulouse since October 2009. Previous experience includes serving as Responsable médical for Médecins Sans Frontières at an elderly care facility, Director of Operations at Médecins du Monde, and Project Manager for Médecins Sans Frontières prior to that. Jean-Francois holds a Doctorate in Medicine from Faculté de médecine Toulouse, a DEA in Political Anthropology from Faculté la Sorbonne Paris, and a Master's degree in Political Science from Faculté de sciences sociales Toulouse.
