Yassine Boubout serves as the Intersectional Special Advisor for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) since March 2023, focusing on negotiations with authorities in North and South regions. Previously, Yassine held the role of Legal and Host Country Agreement Representative for MSF in South Sudan. Experience includes working at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the UN and conducting research on police brutality as part of a European report. Yassine has a background in international and European law as an Assistant Researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and has contributed to various human rights initiatives, including founding One-Line Solidarity, which supports refugees and the homeless. Educational qualifications were obtained from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, with prior administrative roles at the same institution and project coordination experience with Zomer Van Antwerpen.
