Melissa Lockhart, SHRM-CP, SPHR, has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. Melissa began their career in 1997 as an Education Coordinator and Client Advocate for Domestic Violence Intervention Services / Call Rape. In 2008, they moved to the Hospitality Management Corporation as a Human Resources Manager. In 2011, they became a Human Resources Generalist at Domestic Violence Intervention Services, Inc. (DVIS), where they managed personnel files and employee record tracking for approximately 95 employees and managers. In 2012, they were appointed Director of Human Resources at Houston Interests. In 2017, they became the Director of Human Resources at APSCO, where they managed the manufacturing of pneumatic cylinders, controls and valves for the mobile, truck equipment and automotive markets. In 2021, they were appointed Director of Human Resources at Medefy Health.
Melissa Lockhart holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from Rogers State University, which they obtained between 2000 and 2005. Prior to that, they attended Owasso High School between 1991 and 1995. Lockhart has also obtained several certifications, including Certified Domestic & Sexual Violence Response Professional from the Oklahoma Coalition Against Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault in 2007, Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2013, Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in 2015, and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in 2016 and 2020.
