Tero Ylisaukko-oja

Tero Ylisaukko-oja is the CEO and founder of MedEngine since 2011. Tero also worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Oulu starting from February 2012. Before that, they held multiple roles at Genecodebook Oy, including CTO and co-founder from an unspecified date in 2011 until August 2014, and co-founder from March 2010 to March 2011. Prior to that, they were a Scientific Advisor at Pfizer Oy from August 2009 to March 2011. Tero also worked as a Group Product Manager at Servier Finland Oy from August 2008 to July 2009 and as a Product Manager from June 2006 to July 2008. Tero Ylisaukko-oja started their career as a Scientist at the National Public Health Institute in June 1999, where they worked until May 2006.

Tero Ylisaukko-oja completed their education in Molecular Medicine, earning a PhD degree from the University of Helsinki in the years 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued their M.Sc degree in Biochemistry at the University of Oulu from 1996 to 2002.
