Javier Saavedra

Javier Saavedra, MD, MSc, is a seasoned neurosurgeon and academic currently serving as a Professor of Neurosurgery at Universidad del Rosario and as the Scientific Director at CIEN (Center for Research and Training in Neurosurgery). With extensive clinical experience at Méderi and several other hospitals, including Hospital Central de la Policía and Hospital De Kennedy, Javier has also completed prestigious fellowships and observerships in Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery and Brain Tumor Center procedures at renowned institutions such as NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Harvard University. Javier holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad del Rosario, alongside a Master of Science from CEU Cardenal Herrera University and additional specialized training from Cornell University and Pierre and Marie Curie University.
