Joe Elkin

Joe Elkin is an experienced Safety Risk Manager at MedEx Ambulance Service Inc. since July 2020, overseeing a comprehensive insurance and risk management program for the organization while ensuring safety and security. Prior to this role, Joe served as an Operations Supervisor and paramedic for a significant private ambulance company in the Chicagoland area. Joe's previous experience includes working at St. Croix County in Emergency Support Services, where collaboration with municipalities and emergency services facilitated community preparedness and recovery during emergencies. Joe has also held positions as a Critical Care Paramedic at Life Link III, a Deputy Sheriff for Polk County Government, and a Communications Officer with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Joe's educational background includes studies at Chippewa Valley Technical College.
