Saswat Bal

Saswat Bal, Ph.D., is a highly experienced scientist currently employed at MedGenome since December 2022, focusing on advancing single-cell genomics technologies for molecular screening and discovery science. Previous roles include serving as an Assistant Academic Research Scientist at Emory University from October 2020 to December 2022, where work centered on genetically modified CAR-T cells, T-Stem Cells, and virology, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Case Western Reserve University from September 2017 to April 2020, concentrating on hematopoietic stem cells in leukemia research. Saswat Bal also held a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Cleveland Clinic from April 2015 to August 2017, focusing on cardiovascular diseases specifically related to atherosclerosis.
