Ghaith Taraben

Ghaith Taraben has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ghaith is currently the Director of Finance and Operations at MedGlobal since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Programs at Al-Sham Humanitarian Foundation from July 2020 to May 2021. Ghaith also held various positions at the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS), including Head of Mission in India from November 2018 to June 2020, Head of Mission in Turkey from January 2015 to October 2018, and Logistics Coordinator in Turkey from January 2014 to December 2014. Before their involvement in humanitarian work, Ghaith worked at Syriatel, where they had roles such as Retail Shops Regional Manager from January 2011 to June 2013. Ghaith also worked at Aramex as a Sales Team Leader from April 1997 to March 2001 and briefly served as an Accountant at Al Nahawi Bookstore in January 1997.

Ghaith Taraben completed their Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Beirut Arab University between 1992 and 1996. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Accounting and Finance from The Arab Academy For Management, Banking And Financial Sciences between 2005 and 2007.
