Medi 3
Erland Hermansen is a seasoned orthopedic surgeon with a robust professional background, currently serving as a consultant orthopedic surgeon at Medi3 AS since September 2022. In addition to general orthopedic expertise, extensive training in various specialties is noted. Since April 2009, Erland has been a project leader at Helse Møre og Romsdal HF, overseeing the NORDSTEN trial involving 18 Norwegian hospitals focused on surgical techniques for Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. Previous roles include head of the Orthopedic Department, where responsibilities encompassed operational management, personnel, and financial oversight. Erland also served as the medical director of clinical development at Hofseth BioCare ASA from September 2020 to November 2024, driving the RD-program for new bioactive products. Erland's extensive education includes a PhD from the University of Bergen and board certification in orthopedic surgery earned through training at Den Norske Legeforening.

Medi 3 er et av landets ledende privateide medisinske senter. Vi har et bredt og relevant tilbud av helsetjenester i Møre og Romsdal med høy kvalitet og god tilgjengelighet for alle. Medi 3 har et personell på ca 150 og en samlet årlig omsetning på ca 200 mill kr. Medi 3 ble først etablert i Ålesund i 1986, og har i tillegg en avdeling i Ulsteinvik. Medi 3 består også av datterselskapene Medi3 Oslo AS og ShipMed AS.
