Jill Ward MD, MS, DABT, FACEP, FAAEM has a diverse work experience in various medical positions. Jill currently works as an Emergency Medicine Physician at HCA Florida Memorial Jacksonville with TeamHealth since 2016. In 2023, they will be joining Vituity as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Ascension St. Vincent’s. Jill also serves as the Medical Director at Medi-Weightloss® since 2023. Jill Ward, MD, MS, DABT, FACEP, FAAEM has an extensive education background. Jill obtained a High School Diploma from The Bolles School in 2000. After completing high school, they attended the University of Florida where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2004. Jill then pursued their medical education at Florida State University College of Medicine, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2010.

During their time acquiring their medical degree, Jill Ward also completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Toxicology at the University of Florida from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they underwent an Emergency Medicine Residency Program at AdventHealth University from 2010 to 2013 to further specialize in the field of Emergency Medicine.

Jill Ward has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. Jill became a licensed expert witness in the State of Florida in May 2023. In April 2022, they obtained the certification of High Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD) from the STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. Jill also holds the certification of Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT) since January 2019. Moreover, they are certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, obtained in May 2014.

Furthermore, Jill Ward has acquired additional certifications such as Advanced Hazmat Life Support from the University of Florida, board certification in emergency medicine from the American Board of Emergency Medicine, board certification in toxicology from the American Board of Toxicology, CLIA/COLA certification from the Laboratory Accreditation Program Bureau, and a X Waiver from the Drug Enforcement Agency.
