Mayuri Mei Lin is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Senior Program Officer for Asia at the Media Development Investment Fund since December 2022. Mayuri's prior roles include Educational Program Coordinator at The City University of New York, where various programs aimed at journalists of colour were project managed, and Media Consultant for the Media Development Investment Fund, providing insights into revenue diversification for newsrooms in Myanmar. Mayuri's background encompasses roles at New York University as an Accessibility Technician, as well as research positions with the Membership Puzzle Project. With a robust foundation in visual journalism developed during tenure at BBC News, Mayuri has also contributed as a journalist and editor at Khmer Times, The Malay Mail Online, and BFM - The Business Station. Mayuri holds a Master's degree in Journalism from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Ohio University.
