Charlie Stokes

Charlie Stokes has had a varied work experience, beginning in 2011. That year, they were a Speech Coach for Lakeville Area Public Schools ISD 194, where they provided mentorship to high school students, teaching and exercising effective public speaking skills and helping students of all walks of life find their place and their voice. In 2014, they became a Minnesota Math Corps Tutor for AmeriCorps, tutoring struggling students back to mathematical proficiency and making math fun and approachable. In 2016, they were a Server for Blue Plate Restaurant Company, providing upbeat guest engagement and keeping up-to-date and knowledgeable about food and beverage selections. In 2021, they began working as a Back End Developer for media junction™, and they are also currently a Full Stack Engineer Student for Prime Digital Academy, completing a 20-week immersion program for the development of Javascript and React applications. Additionally, from 2011-2016, they were a Greeter Coordinator and Gustie Greeter for Gustavus Adolphus College, leading the Gustie Greeters, coordinating between the Director of Campus Activities and Greeters, and leading and acclimating new students to campus life.

Charlie Stokes attended Gustavus Adolphus College from 2010 to 2014, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Physics. In 2021, they enrolled in the Full Stack Immersion Program at Prime Digital Academy.
