Jack W. is a Rapid Response Researcher II at Media Matters for America, where Jack monitors and flags influential news cycles related to emerging right-wing figures and political extremism. Previously, Jack worked as a Research Tracker at American Bridge 21st Century and as a Contributor and Researcher at IdaVox / One People’s Project. Jack has experience in analyzing organized white nationalism and online extremism, as well as conducting investigative research. Jack also has freelance journalism experience and has worked as a Census Enumerator at the U.S. Census Bureau. Jack holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Relations and Policy from Michigan State University James Madison College.
