Josy Amann

Josy Amann has a diverse work experience in the media and advertising industry. Josy co-founded Media Matters Worldwide in 2005 and is currently serving as a MediaWeek Council member at Adweek since 2021. Josy was also a BAARC Mentor at the Bay Area Advertising Relief Committee starting from 2019.

Prior to these roles, Josy worked as a Media Director at Becker Media from 2001 to 2005. Josy also had freelance positions as a Media Supervisor at McCann Erickson from 2000 to 2001, and at Carat from January to March 2000. Josy'scareer in media planning began at Lowe Lintas, where they worked as a Media Planner from 1997 to 1999.

Josy Amann completed their high school education at Smithtown High School from 1989 to 1993. Josy then pursued a bachelor's degree in Psychology & Sociology from SUNY Geneseo, graduating in 1997.
