Matty Candelario

Matty Candelario (Freeman-Richards) has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matty is currently serving as the SVP, Group Account Director at Media.Monks since June 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of VP, Group Account Director at Firewood Marketing from March 2017 to June 2020, where they also served as the Director of Engagement Marketing from November 2015 to March 2017.

Matty has also worked at University of Phoenix as the Senior Marketing Director from December 2012 to October 2015, and as the Marketing Director from September 2010 to December 2012. Matty started their career at Western Union as a Marketing Manager from December 2007 to November 2008, and later served as the Senior Marketing Manager from November 2008 to September 2010. Finally, they began their career at The Integer Group as an Account Executive from October 2004 to November 2007, where they managed national campaigns for Coors Light.

In addition to their previous roles, Matty Candelario (Freeman-Richards) has been a member of Chief, a private network focused on empowering women in leadership positions, since January 2021. Matty'srole at Chief is to drive more women into positions of power and provide a platform for senior women leaders to collaborate and effect change from the top-down. This role is scheduled to continue until January 2023.

Matty Candelario (Freeman-Richards) received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2004, with a focus on the Advertising sequence and a minor in Business. In 2003, they also had a semester of study at Lorenzo De'Medici.
