Carolyn McNierney

Carolyn McNierney has over 30 years of experience in the media industry. Carolyn'smost recent role is Senior Account Executive at Media Partners Worldwide in Long Beach, California, where they started in November 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategic Account Manager at Total Traffic & Weather Network from March 2012 to July 2017. In this role, they identified new business opportunities and managed advertising relationships for the network division of iHeartMedia. From June 2002 to February 2012, they served as a Regional Account Executive at NextMedia Group, where they successfully grew a network account list and developed advertising plans for 11 suburban Chicago radio stations. Before that, they were a Market Manager at Cumulus Media from January 1999 to March 2002, where they managed one-station broadcast operations and a sales staff. Carolyn began their career in advertising sales at Cumulus Broadcasting in May 1996, working with WKKO-FM and WRQN-FM in Toledo, Ohio. Prior to that, they worked as a Radio Account Executive at Lesnick Communications from February 1995 to May 1996, selling advertising for WTWR-FM in Monroe, MI. Carolyn also has experience as a Station Manager and Sales Manager at Country Gold Network from August 1992 to August 1994, and as a Business Reporter, News Reporter, and Editorial Assistant at Jack Kent Cooke Inc. - Los Angeles Daily News from November 1987 to July 1991.

Carolyn McNierney obtained a Certification in Financial Planning and Services from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended California State University, Northridge, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism / Political Science from 1982 to 1986. Additionally, Carolyn obtained a certification as an Insurance Agent (Insurance Producer) from the California Department of Insurance in April 2021.
