Stephen Heleker

Stephen Heleker is an accomplished story editor and creative development professional at Media Res Studio since July 2019. As a self-employed producer and director since August 2014, Stephen specializes in independent filmmaking and has experience producing and directing commercial and music video content for national clients. Previous roles include writers assistant and script coordinator at Apple TV+ in early 2020, and teaching fellow at UCLA Undergraduate Education Initiatives, where Stephen instructed on mythology and film genre. Additionally, Stephen served as a teaching assistant for advanced editing seminars at UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television. Educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Directing from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Communication, and English from Boise State University.
