Marvin Lee

Marvin Lee is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations in Singapore. Currently serving as the Director for Smart Nation and Digital Economy at the National Research Foundation Singapore since June 2022, Marvin also holds the position of Weekend Radio DJ at Mediacorp Pte Ltd, starting in August 2014. Previously, Marvin was the Vice President of Semiconductors at the Singapore Economic Development Board, where responsibilities included enhancing Singapore's position in the semiconductor industry and fostering partnerships. At A*STAR, Marvin ascended through multiple roles, culminating in the Director position, where strategy development and collaboration with government entities were pivotal. With a strong educational foundation that includes a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and management studies from the University of London, Marvin's career is marked by significant contributions to research, innovation, and economic development in Singapore.
