Jason Thompson

As an early adopter of Drupal 8, Jason Thompson has been working with Drupal for over 10 years. He brings that experience to Mediacurrent with Duo Consulting, working with clients as a front end developer, utilizing components like layout builder to create full Drupal builds. Jason’s background in UX and responsive web design always informs his approach to Drupal development—he uses a combination of his coding skills and a designer’s attention to detail to build dynamic, results-driven user experiences.

Jason discovered web design and coding at Studio North in the late 1990s, kicking off his passion for development. Before joining Mediacurrent with Duo Consulting, Jason was the Digital Team Lead at Pivot Design in Chicago. He has developed sites for a range of clients, including Erikson Institute, Kettering University, Figo Pet Insurance, Skender Construction, and Sterling Bay.

One of his favorite things about Drupal is the ability to customize the content author’s experience based on unique content and functional requirements. He probably spends too much time on his computer, but never on Facebook.
