Heiko Desruelle

Heiko Desruelle is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and digital design, currently serving as the Product Management & Design Lead at Mediafin since January 2022. Previously, Heiko held the position of Senior Product Manager at DPG Media België from March 2018 to January 2022, managing a portfolio of digital products and leading a team focused on key performance indicators. Prior roles include Digital Product Manager for HLN.be and Product Owner - Digital at De Persgroep Publishing, where technical coordination of user-facing products was key. Heiko’s background also encompasses research and development as a Senior R&D Engineer at imec and project leadership during a PhD at Ghent University. Educational qualifications include a PhD, MSc, and BSc in Computer Science Engineering from Ghent University.
