Jan De Schamphelaere is a journalist at De Tijd, specializing in business news across various industries, including environmental technology, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, energy, and renewable energy since March 2004. Prior to this role, Jan served as a management trainee at Katoen Natie from December 2002 to May 2003 and was a PhD student at Universiteit Gent, focusing on marketing research and database marketing from October 2000 to September 2002, where involvement in teaching and education also took place.
