Alan Sweeney

Alan Sweeney has a strong background in media and finance. Alan started their career as the Group General Manager at Southern Cross Broadcasting in 1984 and held that role until 1992. Alan then joined Telecasters Australia as the Director of Finance, staying with the company until 1996. From 1996 to 2000, they worked as the Director of Finance at Hamilton Island Limited. Alan then served as the CEO of HeliReef from 2000 to 2007. Alan joined MediaHub in 2010 as the Chief Financial Officer and was later promoted to Chief Executive Officer in 2012.

Alan Sweeney graduated from Monash University Melbourne with a Bachelor of Economics specializing in Finance, General in the period of 1975 to 1977. Prior to that, they attended Sunshine West High School from 1968 to 1974. Alan also holds a certification as a Fellow Member from The Tax Institute, obtained in the year 2022.
